2.4.1 Production, productivity and efficiency - Theme 2 Edexcel A Level Business

This set of resources can be delivered over 2-3 lessons and includes 1x PPT and 2x word files. We start with a practical starter to introduce job, batch and flow production methods. For each production method we look at real life examples such as a wedding dress for job production.
 
We then go on to look at cell production, productivity and efficiency, each with their formulas. We look at a case study of a chocolate manufacturer that uses batch production, a 10 mark question based on this, with structure guidance and model answer provided for students to peer assess and make improvements. A second 10 marker is included on lean production on a different
chocolate manufacturer, again with guidance and a model answer - a good day for chocolate lovers!
